1.Aims of Publication and Target Readership
Chinese Health Quality Management is an academic journal on health quality management, sponsored by the National Health Commission of the People£§s Republic of China and jointly published by the Chinese Hospital Association and Shaanxi Provincial People£§s Hospital.It was included in the "Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citation Database"(CSTPCD) in June 2008. The journal adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice and the policy of "letting a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend" under the guidance of national health policies and guidelines. It reports on theories, methodologies, and research findings related to health quality management both domestically and internationally, aiming to foster academic exchanges and promote the advancement of health quality management in China.

The primary target readership of this journal includes medical and nursing staff, quality control managers in hospitals, healthcare administrative personnel, medical and health technicians responsible for quality management, relevant teaching and research staff from universities and research institutions, as well as individuals in related fields.

2.Scope of Manuscript Solicitation and Column Configuration
This journal welcomes original research articles on health quality management and related topics. It encompasses studies, commentaries, and reviews on policies, laws, and regulations pertaining to health quality management, as well as research on economic, technological, cultural, and humanistic aspects. It also covers the application of modern management theories and technical methodologies in health quality management, trends and developments in foreign academic research on health quality management, among others.

The main columns set up in this journal include: Special Attentions, Medical Quality, Service Quality, Nursing Quality, Patient Safety, Performance Management and High Quality Development of Hospitals, Blood Quality, Quality Control of Disease Prevention, QC Group Platform, Quality and Statute, Problem and Countermeasure, Quality and Information, Health Technology Assessment Rubric, Quality Management Methods and Tools, etc.

3.Requirements for Manuscript Submission
(1) The content of the manuscript should be novel, with clear arguments, reliable data, accurate statistics, and standardized presentation of statistical processing.

(2) The text should be concise and coherent, with scientific rigor and academic value. Experience sharing should be practical and operable.
Articles such as original research, reviews, and survey reports should generally not exceed 8 000 words, while other manuscripts should be around 5 000 words.

(3) Title. The Chinese title should not exceed 20 characters. If the manuscript is supported by a scientific research project funded by a national, ministerial, or provincial agency, please indicate the project name and number in the footer of the first page of the manuscript and attach a photocopy of the relevant document.

(4) Authors. The number and order of authors should be determined by the authors themselves. Any changes during the editorial process must be accompanied by an official letter signed by all authors before and after the change.

(5) Abstract. All manuscripts should include both Chinese and English titles. Original research and review articles must have both Chinese and English abstracts (Chinese abstracts should be within 200 characters, and English abstracts should be around 400 words). It is preferable to use informative abstracts that include the objective, methods, results, and conclusions, although indicative abstracts are also acceptable. Additionally, the manuscript should provide the authors£§ institutional affiliations, city, postal code, correspondence address in both Chinese and English, as well as the Pinyin of all authors£§ names.

(6) Keywords. Original research articles should list at least five keywords.

(7) Units of Measurement. Follow the "Order of the State Council on the Unified Implementation of Legal Units of Measurement in China" and fully comply with the provisions of the national standard GB3100~3102-1993 (Quantities and Units).

(8) Figures and Tables. Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively according to their order of appearance in the text. Each figure and table should be annotated in the text and accompanied by a self-explanatory caption. This journal adopts the three-line table format.

(9)References. Use the sequential coding system according to international standard GB7714-87, marking references with Arabic numerals in square brackets according to their order of appearance in the text. Unpublished materials, internal manuscripts, and personal communications are generally not cited as references. Secondary literature should not be cited as references either. For references with 1-3 authors, list all authors; for references with more than 3 authors, list the first 3 authors followed by ", et al." References should be listed at the end of the manuscript in the order of their citation. Common reference formats and their corresponding identifiers are as follows:

4.Explanation of Related Fees
(1) This journal does not charge a review fee. The page charge will be notified to the author along with the acceptance letter after the manuscript is finalized, and it will be collected via bank transfer. If an invoice is required after the page charge is paid, the author can inform us of the invoice title and taxpayer identification number via email. Starting from November 10, 2020, electronic invoices will be issued by default for page charges in our journal. Please provide the email address for receiving the electronic invoice when corresponding with us to avoid any impact on reimbursement.
(2) Two copies of the current issue of the journal will be gifted to the author upon publication of the manuscript.

5.Notes for Manuscript Submission
(1) Please submit your manuscript through the manuscript submission and editing platform on our official website (http://www.cnwszl.com). The manuscript must include the author£§s specific mailing address, personal telephone number, and a letter of review and recommendation from the author£§s institution, stating that the manuscript has not been submitted to multiple journals simultaneously, does not involve confidential information, and has no disputes regarding authorship.
(2) According to the "Copyright Law," if the author does not receive a notification within 3 months, they may handle the manuscript at their own discretion. Manuscripts should not be submitted to multiple journals simultaneously, and the author is solely responsible for the content. This journal reserves the right to make textual revisions and deletions (excluding the core ideas) to the manuscript. If the author does not agree to the revisions, they must state so when submitting the manuscript. Once the manuscript is published, it will also be included in electronic publications (CD-ROM version, online version) such as the "China Journal Full-text Database." If the author does not agree to this, they must state so when submitting the manuscript.
(3) This journal adopts a "three-review and three-proofreading" system. At each review stage, there is a possibility that the manuscript may not be accepted, and it will be rejected via our manuscript submission and editing platform.
(4) If the submitted manuscript infringes upon the rights of others, this journal will not be held jointly liable. If the manuscript is found to be plagiarized, it will be exposed in the journal, and the author£§s institution will be notified. The consequences will be borne by the author.
