This paper introduces the 2024 recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in the United States: the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health. It details the background, mission, vision, and values of this healthcare system. Its notable achievements include: as a healthcare system serving the Chickasaw people, it has received a five-star overall rating from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, with patient recommendation willingness and total employee turnover rate ranking in the top 10% nationwide, and demonstrating outstanding performance in patient safety indicators.
