Based on three aspects of hardware requirements, blood management, and personnel management, the pre-position blood bank was carried out in surgical anesthesia departments with large blood use. It ensured blood safety, protected the timely blood supply, saved blood resources, and provided reference for exploration and improvement of standards on pre-position blood bank.
