POSSUM评分系统是预测死亡率和并发症发生率的评分系统，由生理学评分和手术严重性评分两部分构成。对周围动脉疾病患者进行围手术期生理学评分和手术严重性评分，依据评分结果采取针对性护理措施，使患者术后并发症发生率大幅度下降，有推广应用价值。但系统也存在计算出的死亡率和并发症发生率过高等问题。

The POSSUM scoring system is a system for predicting the incidence of morbidity and complications, which includes the physiological score and surgical severity score. Perioperative physiological score and surgical severity score were evaluated in patients with peripheral arterial disease. According to the scoring result, targeted care measures were adopted to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, which was worth of promotion and application. However, there had also problems, such as the overestimated mortality rate and incidence of complications.
